About Caroline Fisher
I learned to meditate at 18, more than 30 years ago, and it has profoundly shaped my life. Practising the simple mental technique of Vedic Meditation has helped me navigate difficult times, reduce stress, and find greater clarity, balance and fulfilment. It is, without question, the single most valuable skill I have ever learned.
For more than three decades, I worked in high-pressure environments across news media, politics, and academia, where I completed my PhD. Throughout it all, my daily meditation has been my constant. It has kept me grounded, resilient, and connected to myself.
I have always been driven by a desire to make the world a better place. But after decades of working within complex systems and institutions, I came to realise that meaningful and lasting change begins with the individual. To reduce stress, fear, and disconnection in the world, we first need to create more calm, clarity, and happiness within ourselves. In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, overwhelming and uncertain, I chose to change my career to teach meditation and help people cope better and achieve greater levels of fulfilment.
In 2026, after two years of study, I completed an intensive three-month teacher training course in India under the guidance of Thom Knoles to become a certified Vedic Meditation teacher.
Today my intention is to support people through learning Vedic Meditation to feel more relaxed and grounded, less stressed, more focused, more connected with themselves, and simply happier.
